ios 4.2 update for ipad

It took about an hour fromshows up my home computer over DSL internet to download 551M of the OS update which sounds about right. The ipad update finished in about 10 minutes.

Some things that I was eagerly waiting for:

o Multitasking: Pandora Radio worked all the while I was syncing the device.

o Search within a page: finding it was a bit difficult, but it is just integrated into the search box. As you typed the string, there is a Next button that looping you thru the hits.

o It is not clear why itunes doesn't support folders for apps. It is a big pain to reorganize apps on every device that connects to itunes.

o So far I have not been able to use the Airprint to print on a printer shared by my Visa PC.

I have to see how this OS compares to the 4.1 on my iphone which keeps choking often. On ipad the OS appears to be very stable so far.
